The Malonne social department organises various “services” for students who require them.
Two resource centres
The library contains 40,000 items : books, journals, final works, videos, CDs, DVDs… organised around keywords to facilitate research. It is an essential tool for students throughout their studies.
Morever, students get regular practice in a smaller resource centre, containing 3,000 items. It is managed by both students and teachers.
Computer equipment
Computers and an Internet access are available to the students both in the department’s information technology labs and in the library.
Employment service
The department organises an “employment service” for bachelors who require this assistance through a dissemination list that centralises the job offers that reach us.
Social fund
The department makes every effort to provide financial assistance to students in difficulty. This service is managed in collaboration with student delegates.
A part-time social worker has been recruited by HENaC.
